Kalahastisvara temple is in Peria Mada Street. As In Khalashte, it is famous for Ragu (planet). Hence, this temple got the name Khalastiswarar. Ragu is separately housed. Besides there is Astatasabhuja Mahalaxmi (18 arms) here. The presence of a special Durga here is of great importance to devotees. Further, the temple is in the shape of the pranava ‘Om’.
